Pilates Instructor

 

With a background in dance, Alicia rediscovered her love for movement through Pilates while searching for an exercise routine that was “a bit more than” yoga but “less than” strength training. After just one class, she was captivated by Pilates and knew it was the path forward. 

 

Alicia is committed to a holistic approach to Pilates, ensuring each session is thoughtfully structured yet flexible to meet the unique needs and goals of every participant. She aims to always create an inclusive and welcoming environment where individuals feel supported as they explore their potential and work toward their goals. 

 

What Alicia loves most about Pilates is its accessibility to all bodies. Having started her journey in a larger body, she understands firsthand how Pilates can be an inclusive and adaptable form of movement. Pilates meets people where they are, offering modifications that make every exercise possible, regardless of fitness level. Her goal is to help others find that same love for movement, connect with their bodies, and embrace the transformative power of Pilates. 

 

When she’s not teaching or doing Pilates, Alicia likes to tap dance, get lost in a good book, enjoy a cup of coffee, or attempt to get outside to walk or bike.
